Color Me Gothic
A colorful gothic blog for a colorful, yet gothic life!
I wonder what happens to people who don’t elect that class.
“and one of the electives is “How to convert evil-doers to Christianity and save their souls” And the first class is on Wiccans who are “satanists””

If Your /About/ to Hurt Me
mols:
The problem is, if I think you’re about to hurt me, I won’t just pull away, I’ll disappear. No questions, no confrontation, no explanation, not a peep. I’ll just disappear. And you’ll be left wondering what the hell happened, where did you — where did we — when did everything go so wrong.
This would not be me. And no, I would not kick, nor scream. I might not even realize that I was being hurt. I would suffer through it. Look back, and then learn from it. It’s not because I am slow. I just want to know what’s next. Does it ever get better? Is there a way? If I disappear (and if you truly lastingly wound me, I WILL), you will know exACTLY why I have gone. We will both regret it. It will make a wonderful story that I might never tell. I will never wonder if I should reappear.
To The Girl Who Reads
To the Girl Who Reads, date the man in your favorite book. Date the weak boy who could never live up to such valor. Date the rebel who “knows” he’ll never be good enough. He might not be, but for the time you date, you will cherish him… or not.
To the Girl Who Reads, know that you should rot in Hell, knowing why you are there. It is far better than existing in Purgatory, wondering what you did or did not do to not be in Heaven.
Do not take pity upon yourself for the man who is scared to love you. Savor his passion. Cast down the walls he puts up, however, be warned that he may break up with you at sight of your strength. Be he the weak one, he will.
Write a book, poem, or song. It will probably suck, royally of course. Do it again, it might be better. Do so anyway. It helps bring reality to your novel concepts.
On the same token, never consider this world too mundane. Remember that none of your stories could exist without it. The inspiration is within this world. Always remeber, your fantasy exists in reality within the form of a book.
Argue with the person who puts you down. You know yourself better than they do. At worst, you will end with an impasse.
Be not afraid of the mundane. It has its own story, however understated. Be careful, however, it will try to suck you in to rob you of your most beloved characteristics.
Be the character you believe to suit your life the best. Decide this early on, because it is much longer, harder a task to complete later in life.
Never forget that life is longer than you realize. Everything you do matters. Remember to so it from more than your own point of view.
Remember that there is more out there than books. There are films, songs, and people. People have very interesting stories. Nonfiction is a great genre to look into. If you have read fictitious plot lines your entire life, I suggest memoirs and historical biographies.
Above all else, remember that there is more to life than dating. Still, fall in love whenever possible. It is part of your own story. Remember that you have a story too. If you do not live your life as well as one of your books, you are wasting it. No good story embodies, “She read her entire life. She did nothing else. She died.” Live your life well. It will infect the minds of future generations.
You who reads books. You, the girl (or boy). You are the author, narrator and character of your life. You have a lot of roles to fill. Read a lot; do more than that, live.

Another Blog for Venting!
Though I’d share this :-)
I received a message today asking to post this link. I’m Not Okay is a forum type blog. You are welcome to share grievances, chat, and ask advice there! You can always ask advice on Hawk’s Eye View, but for a blog centered around getting it all out at any time, I’m Not Okay is a great blog to tell the world exactly why it is you feel like YOU are “Not Okay.”
What do you think?
